The Goa Institute of Management one of the premier B-Schools in India, hosted its annual convocation ceremony for the PGDBM batch 2009-11 at Kala Academy, where students turned professional managers received the coveted diploma after having completed over 22 months of academically packed rigorous training with exposure to live industrial projects.
Goa Institute of Management has done exceedingly well, as compared to other B-schools around the country. The students of GIM yet again proved that they are one of the best in B-schools with as much as 15% students getting pre-placement offers based on their summer internship.
Students were awarded their diplomas and some special awards of merits were presented to the students by Mr. Suresh Prabhu. Best Academic Performance was awarded to Akhil Uday Kamatand, a medal for recognition in extra-curricular activities was awarded to Prem Sharma (see pic) and Nitin C received the award for Best Student of the year.
